Sad But True

I was invited to a house that is listed for sale with another Realtor and what I found was awful!  The sellers are living in a house, no bed, no kitchen table, no furniture other than a couch, desk and dining room table.  I looked at the photos online and assumed the sellers had moved out of the house.  I was shocked to learn they were living like this.  Apparently their real estate agent told them they needed to get rid of their furniture to sell the house.  They have been sleeping on the floor, for 90 days!  I am not exactly sure how the sellers came to be in this position, barely living in their house.

When you list your house for sale, hire a full time professional real estate agent.  There are better ways to sell your house other than an empty house.  Hire someone that will help you declutter and depersonalize.  For all my listings I hire a staging professional to come into the house to help the sellers prepare the home for sale.   This is a 1-2 hour consultation one on one with at professional that does this job full time , helping people prepare their house for sale.  The stager will give you an itemized list of what to keep, store or sell.  They will give you step by step directions on what photos to hang in which room.  They will give you a shopping list of items to purchase, where to purchase them and then how to display them.

My team and I will be with your each step of the way to help you prepare your home for sale.  If your furniture is old or outdated and needs to be removed for sale, we will help you bring in pieces to help show the house in the best light.  We will advise you on updates to make to the house, updates where you will realize a return on your investment.  Image title
